Much like turkey basting. Allowing someone you hate to continue on a diatribe, through provocation, so that you can insult them with more fury.

Stray-bashing

When a straight person who may not be outwardly macho enough for other straight people is mistaken for gay and physically, emotionally, or mentally abused as a result.
Also, in the non-sexual arena, mistaking someone's race or ethnicity and bashing them incorrectly also qualifies.

A male child molestation victim, victimized by his mother, can have a distrust of women and be mis-identified as gay, even though the victim simply prefers to practice his hetrosexuality with prostitutes or under other "controlled" conditions. Nonetheless, at work, his co-workers are "Stray-bashing" him for being gay, although he is not.

Similarly, bashing a Hawaiian for being Mexican, a Hindu for being Muslim, etc...

this little pissy puppy shits every goddamn day at the same time when the mayor comes to my house to court my 13 year old daughter. Inevitable the puckered pooch knows shit when she sees it and darts out of the house and lands perfectly a beautiful turd sort of liquidy succulent basking that never fails to hit the target. The mayor is such a fucking prick and child molester he keeps coming over because my mom is a whore and cannot pass by an offer of security that never arrives.
