Punk/Rock ... this band do show much potensial and are on the road to great sucess, the band consists of Patrick Stump (lead vocals, guitar), Peter Wentz (bass, backup vocalist, and primary lyricist), Joe Trohman (lead guitar), and Andy Hurley (drums).
There are many desputes that this band has 1)pointles lyrics
2)rubbish bass
3)naisle singing
4) awful live ...
This is totaly wrong!!
Fall Out Boy are amazingly tallented and not big headed, they are very good live. some people think they can even hold four chords when performing live .... helloo yes they are and look amazing on stage too, no they are not emo band and what if they were?? The lyrics generall written by pete are honest and individual!!
finally people who say ... why like Fall Out Boy , they are not even good looking ... Are you blind?? loook at Pete the most insparational and amazing man on earth, Patrick is really tallented and cutee!! the drumer andy is well ... watch him .. could you do that ??? and Joe .. yeh he an play the guitar whilst spinning roun!! woo

Fall Out Boy

One of the biggest emo bands to rome the earth. There main definition is to suck. If you call this real music, you would understand that this is no were near real music...why don't you emo's try some good ol Guns N Roses, Van Halen, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ect. These bands will kick the shit outta this crap anyday.

fall out boy-one of the worst bands i have ever heard along with my chemical romance, green day, and simple plan. they call themselves punk while signing to major record labels and having music videos played on mtv with whining voices and 4 power chord guitar progressions. fucking pathetic. if you want real punk try the adicts, youth brigade, the adolescents...

fall out boy

As a musician I personally find this music terrible. As a businessman...these guys are geniuses. Their guitar work consists of the "stereotypical punk power chords" which offer no versatility to their music. fans have been known to label fall out Boy as Emo/Punk, while most "anti-fans" refer to them as strictly Emo. I've attmpted to listen to Fall Out Boy, but their lack of technical skill sends me looking for much better music. Fall Out Boy is a marketing machine with a lot of money, but if your going to listen to Emo Rock/Punk, there are a lot better things out there

Me talking to my guitarist: Maybe if you used more than three powerchords you wouldn't sound like Fall Out Boy...
My guitarist:If you know what Fall Out Boy sounds like, you might want to consider killing yourself...
My drummer:No, thats what they want...
20 minutes and an argument over the genre of Fall Out Boy later...
Me:why did we have to go through that?
guitarist:Because you listened to Fall Out Boy...
Me: Fu*k it...lets just keep playing, just make sure you don't fu*k up again
