Here We Are Now tells the story of Taliah, a biracial white/Arabic teen who's never met her father. She's only working on an educated guess that Julian Oliver is her father. Despite sending him letters ever since she was thirteen, "Taliah Sahar Abdallat" never thought she'd ever really meet . But one day, while her mother is out of the country, the famed rock star from Staring Into the Abyss shows up on her doorstep.
