Bucket List

A list of things you want to do before you die. I believe the term comes from a Rob Reiner movie called "The Bucket List" in which 2 terminally ill men (played by Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson) go on a road trip to do the things they wanted to do before they died (kicked the bucket)...or it could be that the term pre-dated the movie (?) and that was the reason they called the movie what they did.

Sadly, the old man passed away with his bucket list still containing several unfulfilled desires.

A list of household chores or home improvement tasks from a mother to her son. Similar to a honey do lists.

My dad picked up his honey do list from the kitchen table and got to work. I picked up my sonny do list from the kitchen table and got to work, too.

Text List

Texting a friend a band's setlist at a concert when one of you attends the show, while the other cannot (for whatever reason)

The most accurate text lists are made when the concert-goer texts his/her friend the current song being played during or after the performance, thus sending one song at a time. Texting an entire setlist after the show is over is more difficult because the person at the show may forget some songs here and there, so it's best to text in the moment of each song.

Friend 1: I'm going to the Incubus concert tonight! YEAH!
Friend 2: Lucky! Too bad I live thousands of miles away. Text list me?
Friend 1: Definitely!
