Staten Island

Just about half of what was previously said is true. Not everyone is an idiot, we're home to a highly ranked High School, #1 according to the Post. Sure we have Fresh Kills, the mall, 3 movie theaters, and that's about it. But we have a go-karting place somewhere, and nobody's ever too old for Chuck-E-Cheese's or Fun Station. Not everyone's a guido. Not everyone is a republican. Not everyone is rich. We have projects in almost every area. They just may be better in some. As a mid-islander, most people are middle-class. There are quite affluent families, and a lot of Italians, some descendants of mob bosses do remain. The South shore is more affluent and suburban compared to the North Shore but there is a variety of races in both areas. Yeah we have accents, 4 bridges, 1 train line and accents. But we also have some of the best cars, are getting the largest ferris wheel in the world, and an outlet mall. So Staten Island shouldn't be under estimated or stereotyped even though a lot of the teenagers are stuck-up, racist, wannabe ghetto white kids, there are smart, non-Italian, financially stable people all around the island who aren't guidos. We're Suburban/Urban and I love that there are fantastic cars here that people can freely drive unlike in other boroughs.

I live on Staten Island, am a teenage girl, I don't cake on make up, I'm smart, I own Juicy and Coach items, I love the mall, I'm probably not getting a car until I'm at least half done with college, I'm not White or African-American or Hispanic. I'm mostly mid-island, I have lived on the North Shore and I have family on the South Shore and I can prove that a lot of Staten Island stereotypes are complete and utter crap. But we do have a lot of potholes and assholes are common all over New York City.

Staten Island Accents

Girls and boys from Staten Island have these "accents". Mostly girls, but also some boys. Some are very thick, and some aren't. We 'staten islanders' pronounce COFFEE as CAWFFEE. sometime's it is hard to understand what we're saying. Not ALL people from staten island have staten island accents. People usually describe the accent by telling us we add an extra "A" to the end of some words.

Erica: "hey, can i have some cawfee?"
Vic: " why don't you get it yaself, yer so lazy ."
Chris: "ah you have Staten Island Accents?!"

Ohio State Buckeyes

Anyone with an association to one of the most respected academic and athletic universities in the world. Also, one of the oldest universities in the U.S., Thee Ohio State Buckeyes have won more national championships, bowl games, and conferance titles than most schools in the country. Home of 2 of the greatest coaches in college football history (Woody Hayes, Jim Tressel), Thee Ohio State Buckeyes are tied for most Heisman winners at 7 with Notre Dame. The only school to have a single player win the award twice. One of the most dominant athletic forces in the nation, especially during the 1st 10 years of the millenium in all departments. The Buckeyes are also one of the most hated on juggernauts in the U.S. due to pure talent and heart. In 2011 A witch hunt was held against Jim Tressel, 5 Buckeye football stars, and subsequently the rest of the school over a moronoic rule that players cannot sell awards that they earned for any reason. BOLLOCKS!!! Also the greatest fan base in the world cheer the Buckeyes. Oh, and the rival of the Michigan wolverines (A.K.A. cupcake university) who continue to be crushed at every meeting in the last 7 years straight. Not to mention about to take the lead in wins vs loses between the two rivals. Greates rivalry in sports. EVER!!

The Ohio State Buckeyes are studs that stomp out the team up north with no mercy.

Penn State Berks

A Penn State satellite campus located in Berks county PA. its a small campus, everyone smokes, the doors are ridiculously hard to open in the library, everyone thinks we are stupid, but we are just as kick-ass as main campus students, we have awesome professors, Billie Walker is the coolest reference librarian on earth, have a romantic dinner at Tully's, the hottest cars are our parking lot, you can eat, drink and yell really loud in the library, the Larson building always smells like poop, always some guy driving a gator tractor thingy around picking up cigarette butts, we have the hottest babes and the wildest parties with the most beer!
