cell-u-lar-tardation

a. The state of owning a cell phone and having absolutely no idea how to use it.

b. An acquired state of mental retardation due to radio wave damage of the brain as a result of insessant use of a cellular phone.

Fred's 18 year old daughter, Lisa, has an advanced stage of cell-u-lar-tardation that is irreversible. It's a real shame that he didn't understand the consequences back at age 2, when she got her first cell phone.

1) A guy who is very flattering and flirty, as long as he isn't face to face with you. Usually shy, but possibly a player. So look carefully!

2) A boy you have become friends with over text message and IM. You could talk together all night and day. But, you already have a boyfriend that you don't want to leave. So the relationship stays limited to the sweet conversations you have at a distance.

sex cell division

This is also called meiosis. It is the production of sex cells, or gametes. It is different from mitosis, or normal cell division.

Gametes are Sperm and Egg cell.

One gamete contains 1/2 the genetic information that a parent cell would have.

At the end of meiosis, there will be 4 "daughter cells" from 1 parent cell.

Errors in this process lead to conditions such as:
- Down Syndrome
- Turner Syndrome
Klinefelter Syndrome
