Seth Rogen

A hilarious Canadian actor/screenwriter best known for his roles in Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, Superbad, and Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Seth Rogen had his start on the television show Freaks and Geeks when he was 17, followed by the equally successful show Undeclared. Most, if not all, of his films turned out to be unbelievably successful, making him on his way to be part of the array of comedy legends such as Will Ferrell, Jim Carrey, and Adam Sandler.

Superbad was written by Rogen and his childhood friend Evan Goldberg when they were both in high school. Believe it or not, the film is actually a semi-autobiography on how the two were when they were in high school, making the two main characters represent them and thus naming the characters Seth and Evan (as in Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg). The two have also written Pineapple Express, with the help of the comedy genius Judd Apatow, who is responsible for just about every movie that Rogen has starred in and several others.

Also stars in the upcoming movies Observe and Report and Funny People.

Seth Rogen is my idol.

Adjective -- a state of food that has spoiled to the point that when pulled apart it appears to have slimy strings or ropes between the parts, while appearing fresh on the outside.

While working with the Obama campaign, I grabbed a piece of sweet potato pie that was in the kitchen. Later to get home and bite into it and find that it had spoiled and was all ropey.
