Favor Baiting

A manipulative tactic that involves asking someone to do a small favor for them, only to lead the way to more, usually larger favors. This tactic is most often used by roommates, couples, parents, and coworkers.

Fred: Hey Rob, could you take out the trash for me?

Rob: Sure dude! takes out trash

Fred: Ok, now can you clean the entire kitchen, paint the house, and wipe my ass because you’re my bitch now boi!

Rob: oh, so you’re favor baiting me, I see. Fuck you!

Spot baiting is the act of putting someone in the spotlight to see who will accuse or attack them when they are in a position of power. Will also highlight those who will be supportive.

An adjective to describe any person, place, thing, situation, event, etc. that makes your, "blood boil."

After months of excitement and patience, the Joker sequel was blood boilingly terrible.

My first shift at my new job made me realize working the register is blood boilingly tedious.

When someone is trying to push their opinion on you or get validation for their judgments. Generally people who are very gossipy are bias baiters.

Isn’t it a shame that they got a breeder dog than a rescue? Stop bias baiting (or stop being a bias baiter!)

oshi baiting

The practice of commenting under your oshi's media or mentioning them anywhere on social media with the end goal of attracting their attention.

Kyle: Dude, I'm going to make a PC-98 Touhou-style Remix of Riko's theme from Mystical Power Plant!
Chris: Hey, can you stop oshi baiting? You often do it by adding a huge number of hashtags to your posts so you can get attention. You also spam mention your favorite character in every reply on Twitter.
