Fuppies, much like Yuppies, are usually the children of doctors and lawyers, hold Master's degrees from Ivy League universities, and are very concerned with their appearance. Many were in sororities or activist groups and many live in expensive houses or apartments.
Fuppies can typically be seen in large metropolitan areas such as Portland or New York. Their wardrobe consists of a red, black or khakhi bodycon dress, usually with denim, striped or pastel colored suit jackets and shirts, and a pair of glasses to signal to the patriarchy their professional seriousness.
Fuppies typically take the idea of competing with men for social status extremely seriously. So much so, that they either tend to put off trying to get married until their "biological clock" starts ticking, usually in their late 30s, or come out as LGBTQ+.
