Dutch Calvinists do not work on the Lord's Day - it is a day of rest. After a hearty midday meal, the entire family retires to their respective bedrooms to take a nap, and consequently most of their children are conceived on Sunday afternoon while the parents take a "Dutch nap".

Don't bother mom and dad; they are taking a Dutch nap.

Icon nap

When you go to take a nap (usually after school) that’s supposed to be an 1hour-1hr 30min but you ended taking a nap that last anywhere between 5-8 hours, usually waking up the next morning at like 2AM

Can also be referred to as a persons iconic nap

I promised Aaron that I would call him after school but I took an Icon nap instead
