Noun. A story propounded upon the public by persons holding or seeking public office in order to trick voters into the false belief that all politicians are not the same and thereby temporarily convince them to cast their vote in favor of the storyteller (a.k.a. fibber).

The Fairy Tales told by Obama were really unlike those told by Bush but somehow the result is nearly the same: tremendous disappointment.

Airy Fairy

A derogatory term used to refer to the boys and girls who have joined the Air Force Cadets. Also used as an alternate name for the Air Force Cadets. This word is most commonly used by non-air cadets to put air cadets down, likening them to fairy's because they fly and fairy's are childish and maybe slightly homosexual. It is suspected that all Air Force Cadets, or Airy Fairy's are gay.

"What'd ya do at airy fairy's last friday?", "Ummmm, no mate, you're a airy fairy"

Egg Fairy

A person or group of people that leave single eggs on people's doorsteps in the middle of the night. Usually a majority of teenagers in an area will receive eggs around the same time. The eggs have random, humorous messages on them. Rumor has it that the Egg Fairy/Fairies wear bunny ears and hop around the recipients' yards, but their identities remain a mystery to most.

Rob: Ew, I just stepped on something slimy and crunchy on your doorstep!
Jon: Looks I had a visit from the Egg Fairy last night.

Sue: Hey, the Egg Fairy left you something outside!
Jane: (reading the egg) "Can't read my poker face, Love the Egg Fairy"

Tooth Fairy

A 2010 family film starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson that is both unoriginal and cliche. It is highly recommended that you don't waste your time with this movie, however it is a rite of passage for all Stephen Merchant fans

Person 1: Hey, do you wanna watch Tooth Fairy?
