LA Riots

The 1992 LA Riots were started when 4 white police officers intentionally beat black motorist, Rodney King. The beating was captured on video tape by a bystander, the 4 cops went on trial. When they were acquitted by a white judge and an all-white jury, what started as a protest turned into 4 days of all-out anarchy on the streets of LA. The rioters looted stores, started fires, and would drag people from their cars and beat them in the streets. After 6 days of arson, looting, and murder, the riots were suppressed, and schools, banks, businesses, etc. started to re-open. A total of 53 people died in the riots, referred to as the "LA 53".

When the 4 cops were acquitted, it started the LA Riots.

Las Vegas

A city that is so epic it causes great depression among most. Visiting will make you realize how bad your day-to-day life really is.

Even if you go to Las Vegas and win some money while you're there (rare instance), you'll still be "epic-sad" when it comes time to head for home and return to your shitty old lifestyle. And if you drove to Vegas, your departure will be even shittier as you find yourself driving through miles upon miles of vast desert and lost souls.

If you get laid, you'll come home with aids.

La Chouffe

Pubquiz team from The Netherlands with members from Amsterdam and Utrecht.
They won Café Frieda's pubquiz three times, Café Kuijpers' pubquiz once and they finished second once at Kuijpers and once at Café Lust.

On January the 28th they will compete for the 7th time in a pubquiz, this time at Cafe Walvis in Amsterdam

Team La Chouffe is a great pubquiz team, they win almost everytime they show up.
