Idiot Hunting

Searching online for forum posts, blogs, etc by people holding views or believing things that you regard as being exceptionally stupid, obnoxious or generally unpleasant. Usually done just for a laugh when extremely bored or procrastinating.

Couldn't get started on my essay so ended up on Google idiot hunting. Found so much racist, homophobic, hyper religious, republican and daily-mail esqe bs that I lost all faith in humanity.

The Standing Rock Sioux DAPA solidarity check in served only as an idiot detector. As all 3 methods which it described would filter fake check ins by default.

idiot kid

When you call someone an "idiot"(which is an adjective) but then also add in the "kid”(which seems like an adjective depending on how you describe it but it's really not). If you think about it it's not required

Soccer Player *scores in the goal 3 times*
Soccer Player:" You're really bad at being goalie."
Goalie:"At least I'm you're worse"
Soccer Player:"what I just scored on you idiot kid"

idiot filter

The first level of technical support at just about any company. If you have a real problem with a product, you have to prove you're not an idiot just so you can talk to the next level of support where someone may actually be able to address the problem.

Caller: I bought a RAM module that doesn't seem to work.
Tech Sup: Did you try plugging it in the computer first?
Caller: Are you seriously asking me that? Yes. I plugged it into each slot separately, trying various memory configurations and even tried it in a second PC I have. The memory check always fails.
Tech Sup: Did you try unplugging your computer?
Caller: Dude, can I get past the idiot filter? If two different computers in multiple slots say the RAM is bad, then it's bad.

A group of idiots who all seem so similarly idiotic it almost feels like they're part of a club.

Aaron: "Sell! Sell! Sell!" says the Mad Money dude. Do you buy that!? Everyone is listening to him blindly. I don't get it.
Oliver: People bought his line about the market bubble. Idiots Unite!

Jared: Well, if it isn't the smart and talented Charlotte?!?!
Charlotte: What's up Jared?!
Jared: I saw a whole bunch of people following you after class yesterday. What happened!?
Charlotte: I told the instructor I missed the exam because I found out I was pregnant. People kept bugging me afterwards about who the father was. Idiots Unite! Hello!!! It's my new husband Baldwin, who else might it be!?!!

Sophia: Skiing in the summer?! Who does that!!!?
Scarlett: Apparently, Lisa and company. They haven't had enough skiing in the winter it seems.
Sophia: Oh wow! Didn't they go every weekend!!? I mean, I go three times a year and that's more than enough. In the summer, it's beach time baby!
Scarlett: I'm with you, summer means sunbathing on the beach every single day! Let's just leave it at Idiots Unite! Lisa and her friends seem to really dig summer skiing instead. Their loss.
