A LOL in the conversation

When during a serious conversation somebody does or says something (mostly unintentionally) that makes everybody laugh, like tripping/falling in a funny way or making a Freudian slip.

I just talked to my friends and there was a LOL in the conversation when I asked them about the name of a person we just met that day and one of them accidentally said the name of his pet because it sounds similar.

erasmus conversation

the type of conversation you have with someone who doesnt gaf what youre talking about. asks you questions and then forgets the answer. introduces themselves to you 3 times in 2 different occasions. because theyre so special and different to be studying abroad in europe for 3 months and getting shit faced everyday—you are just not that interesting. its like watching a movie that feels like a really long trailer.

jennifer: hi! im jenny

maria: oh hi what do you study? where are you from? how long have you been here. oh cool cool. yea. im european. yea these fucking exams.

(maria to jenny): oh hi whats your name?

jenny’s friend: sup jenny

jenny: yo!

jenny’s friend: what do you think of maria?

jenny: meh idk man just erasmus conversation typa person

jenny’s friend: never ending trailer fr, like spice up the fucking small talk or atleast remember my fucking name LOL

Conversation Déjà vu

When you're talking to someone about a topic you've already covered (but don't remember covering) and you find yourself being able to complete each other's thoughts.

friend: You would not believe what happened to me!
guy: What?
Friend: So I was running this morning when all of a sudden the craziest thing happened!
guy: Did you get attacked by a dog??
friend: YEAH! Whoa, did we already talk about this?

guy: Oh yeah we did, just had a moment of conversation déjà vu
