Reverse bolton

A guy who doesn't believe he owes it to his superiors to kiss their asses or respect them, especially those who live hundreds or thousands of miles away. Also a guy who doesn't treat anybody like a subordinate or alienate them, no matter where they're from, he treats them like everybody else (whether its positive or negative). A guy who treats people as a friend until he finds out otherwise about them, but doesn't believe he owes anybody friendliness even if friendliness is what everyone else is doing.

The guy didn't have a career to speak of, mostly because he wasn't going to start kissing ass today if he wasn't doing it yesterday. He was a reverse Bolton.
