Collective-timing bias

The collective-timing bias is a form of cognitive tendency to think in a certain way that consists of not understanding that a specific situation or task requires immediate decision by a single person while decision makers affected by collective-timing bias try, consciously or unconsciously, to waste time by sharing the potential decision with anyone around ignoring the fact that:
 most people do not have the power to take that decision;
 most people do not have interest in that decision making process;
 they are in overdue;
 they are paid for taking that decision.

A collective-timing bias is a powerful form of group-think.

A - “What do you think about the decision to buy that corporation? Your opinion is request by the decision-making process”

B - “What? I do not know. I am a handyman. No collective-timing bias please”

A - “Your opinion is very important. We need an immediate decision. The acquisition of that company is in danger”

B - “I do not know. I am a handyman. I do not have the power or the responsibility to decide on that acquisition. No collective-timing bias please”

A - “Thank you for your opinion. We will go on by following your orders.”

Thomas Timing

That one friend you want to play with so damn bad. You then realize that he is going to be awhile before you get an answer; So you start playing by yourself. Once you just start playing your game your friend will then say "Hey, sure I'll play now." Your inner rage then builds up and say "GODDAMNIT, YOU GOT THE WORST THOMAS TIMING EVER!"

Person 1: "Hey you wanna play"
Person 2:"Sure in an hour"
~2hours later~
Person 1: ~Starts League of Legends Game~
Person 2: "Hey, I'm back now wanna play?"
Person 1:"I JUST GOT IN A GAME, YOU HAVE FREAKING THOMAS TIMING!!!!"

Twining

A con wherein the con artist gets a cashier to give the twiner more money than s/he gave the cashier plus their shopping for free. Here is an example of how the con might go:

1. Twiner buys a 60p packet of chewing gum with a £20 note.
2. After receiving £19.40 change, twiner 'remembers' he has a £1 coin in his pocket.
3. Twiner gives cashier 5 X £1 coins and asks for a £5 note in return.
4. Twiner distracts cashier with small talk and slips £5 into his pocket.
5. After the cashier has been engaged in enough small talk to make them forget about step #3, twiner gives the cashier a £5 and a £10 note and says, "Actually, you might as well just give me the £20 back."
6. If the twiner is good and the cashier forgetful, the cashier will give the twiner a £20.
7. Twiner now has £25 and a pack of gum from £20.

Chad has to get Nathan to do his shopping cos he's been banned from all the local shops for twining.
