A term used ironically as self-deprecating humor by individuals on the autism spectrum as a way of reclaiming their identity from being pathologized. The use of the term makes autism sound like an antiquated, old-timey disease, reflecting society's biases against neurodivergent folks back at them.

Tism Rizz

Tism rizz is Autistic traits being mis/interpreted as flirting or an overstated interest. Often results in people having crush’s on the tism rizzer while they have no idea. Examples include: intense eye contact, looking at lips to lip read, body language showing interest in conversation, being thoughtful, stimming and just masking traits in general. Popularised by the tik tok audio by Rain Stern, many examples of autistic peoples experiences with the tism rizz can be found under the hashtag #tismrizz.

A darker side of this that has to be acknowledged is the higher rate of sexual assault experience in autistic individuals. A misinterpretation is not consent, if it’s not an enthusiastic yes it’s always a no and your natural/unmasked behaviour is never, in any way asking for anything.

Why do people keep falling in love with me, must be my tism rizz. 😎

tissue pixies

1. The pixies that you hope will replenish the toilet paper when you've just used the last of it but are in too much of a hurry to replenish yourself.

2. The pixies that stole the last of the toilet tissue when you could swear there was at least half a roll 4 hours ago.

3. The pixies that laugh at you when you've just survived a spine chilling bout of diarrhea only to discover that the tissue pixies are not on your side today. The only thing within arm's reach that you can wipe your ass with is one last whispy sheet of toilet roll. The pixies leave this one sheet just to watch you attempt to use it.

"For Chrissake Pete! Who do you think puts a new toilet roll out? The goddam Tissue Pixies?"

Jack: "Linda? Can you come in here and pass me a new roll of toilet paper?"
Linda: "I only put a new one out this morning. I swear the tissue pixies are back"

Mike: "Phew, I could have shit through the eye of a needle!... dammit! Who the hell used the last of the tissue?"
