An expression used mainly on the internet used after someone says something that others may find annoying or offensive, but in a joking manner.

Person: I think she'd be hotter WITHOUT the red thong. *is shot*

Shot

1. Any kind of alcohol (though normally higher proof beverages) that is served in a shot glass. Many shot mixes exist with varying popularity.

2. When any kind of object's effectiveness diminishes to the point that it's hardly or no longer usable at all; no longer in tact.

3. An opportunity that is typically brimming with pressure.

Example 1: I’m a take a shot of nuvo
Shawty then you know
It’s goin’ down we can go and kick it like judo

2. Coach: How ya feeling?
Pitcher: I don't know coach, my arm feels pretty shot right now. I don't think I can pitch another inning.

3. Eminem: Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity...
to seize everything you ever wanted...one moment-
would you capture it, or just let it slip?

Shot Not

When there is a job to do and you shot not doing it by putting an upside thumb on your forehead!

Example:

Mother: Yo, who's gonna take out the trash tonight?
Child 1: SHOT NOT (upside thumb on forehead)
Child 2: SHOT NOTTTT (same as above)
Child 3: fuck my life (now he has to take the trash out)
