scendie

the child of an "Indie kid" and a "scenester". A person identified as "scendie" generally listens to alternative bands and acoustic bands, such as "The Scene Aesthetic", Carter Hulsey, and Never Shout Never. Scendie kids tend to drift away from the traditional pitchy and electronified music of scenesters, while sticking to more known bands than typical Indie kids. Scendie kids are more intellectual than most scenesters, but do not act superior to those who are not as smart. The typical dress and behaviors of a scendie kid consists of:
- tight skinny jeans
- plaid/flannel shirts (similiar to an Indie kid)
- graphic t-shirts (similiar to a Scenester), not necessarily band shirts. may be from Pacsun, Urban Outfitters

- love American Apparel sweatshirts and vibrant colored boy briefs.

- on the thin side. May be vegetarians or vegans.

- worn out vans, or retro Nike high tops. not as simple as the Indie kid's converse.
-big headphones

Scendie kids do NOT have typical "scene hair". Instead they wear their hair very simply and do not do much to it, but keep it more maintained than Indie kids.

"Did you see Dan's new Nikes that he got in the village this weekend?"

"Yeah, what a scenester."

"He's not a scenester. He doesn't own hairspray or a straigtener. He's just a scendie."

Scene Kings

Scene Kings are a part of the internet fad to gain lots of friends on sites like Myspace, Stickam, Buzznet, & others. They are either good friends with one another or worst enemies, but never neutral.

They are usually feminine (eyeliner, girlpants, bright colors) and have a huge following of fangirls. Most of them are famous for nothing, but some model, act, own clothing stores, or sing. Most of them are related to, date, or are friends with Scene Queens.

Scene Kings also can almost always be googled or found on youtube.

Clint Catalyst (Famous Scene King for being a model and LA scene socialite)

Kaiden Blake (Famous Scene King for modeling, writing, and singing)

John Hock (Famous scene king for his stickam shows)

Matthew Lush (Famous for being a 'role model' for the gays)

Jeffree Star (Hollywood transvestite most popular for modeling and singing and probably one of the more popular scene kings)

Alex Evans (Scene King known for modeling and singing)

Scene Mullet

A hairstyle in the scene community,which is like a mullet but is more modern and more stylish.The scene mullet is more feminem than masquelin.In the front of the mullet is "spiked" with hairspray and/or gel.The back is long and sometimes with extensions.Usually the hair color consists of multiple colors,such as:Black,Bleach Blonde,Red,Etc.I personally have seen a rainbow scene mullet.
