Most people dislike popular people, because most people are not popular. Not all popular people are jerks. The thing is is that most people who are different: emo,goth, nerd, geek, and the likes might be made fun of or beat up by popular kids. At my school these are the kids who play football poorly and who listen to rap. Real atheletes aren't nesassarily popular, because they play sports alot. Kids who complain about the popular kids might have been mistreated, but most just feel that they are better than them, which makes you think who are the real jerks. ex: most kids who get picked on think that they are smarter or more artistic than the popular kids. It is true however that most popular people have little true friends. They are only friends because they are popular as well and not what is inside of them. Looks fade so popularity is sort of pointless in the long run. All i know is from my experience. And for liking punk music and being smart some kids don't like me. I, however do not sit at home like the unpopular kids are steriotyped. We do have fun just like you guys do. We are all people and I have met very few "popular" kids that are genually good people, but have met many great "unpopular" kids. The thing is is that both sides hate each other and both have a right to be themselves.
Popular kid: Wow look at those losers, they must sit at home alone and play video games. Man why dont they just get a life. Come on. He makes A's I bet he studies all the time. What a loser.
Unpopular kid: God I hate those guys they are such jerks. Why wont they leave me alone. Me and my friends will just go hang out without them. They are so stupid and will never amount to anything.

A bunch of snot nosed kids who think they own the world and call themselves "GANGSTAS". They go around acting "propa hard" and they always own ricers. They call anyone that aren't wiggers/chavs like them "freaks". They also drive around the city blaring "gnagsta rap" so loud it could cause ear damage. The car always looks something like this:
Huge ass exhaust pipe that does nothing but make the car loud as fuck.
50 foot high spoiler.
Body kits that are total rip offs and do nothing but make the car look "gangsta" like they would say.
Stickers from companies that they don't own parts from.
Gullwing doors.
Insanely gaudy vinyls.
And the car is usualy a slow econobox such as a Ford Focus.

Most popular people are predictible. I have a history with one and this person was the tattle tale as a child making me look like the bad guy all the time. So I think it's fair to say if anyone is being unfairly accused of who they are, it's the outcasts, sorry i know you think it's typical for someone to say that but how why is it that when someone craves attention, and then get the attention they don't like think the people giving it are jealous or don't understand? It comes with the territory and I think it's just as unfair to accuse someone of being jealous simply for not agreeing with your robotic philosophy. And if that is unfair then why are those of you who support these popular unfair to the outsiders by saying they annoy you when you don't know them at all and probably wouldn't care to get to know them. I don't think we are all individuals but if you are going to strive for something why not strive for being you instead of being "you" to everybody else (except those that don't agree with you?) And another thing is I have never really been in a fight with a popular person because even though I might make them angry they won't confront me. However if they piss me off I will be more than happy to confront them and more. .

Me-Keep pushing my buttons, you think because I am tolerant and genuinely nice to you that I won't kill you you are a fool who needs a reality check- this one usually ends with them running their mouths and doing nothing but twisting the scenario to where I'm the bad guy as usual for responding to their bullshit, if they don't have protection (other people around them) they might continue to talk shit but piss me off enough and they will get hurt- and no they can't hold their own like they think or say they can they cry like a bitch when they see what pain feels like

These people are usually well accepted by society but don't realize society is a man made way of getting along with each other that has been taken waaay too far. Most of these people thrive because of society and not themselves but people have a tendency to give in to keep society going for their own comfort.
People would rather be around a person who makes them comfortable and numb(popular) than one who is realistic and truly aware of the big picture.

One who is generally well liked by many. This term is most commonly used in reference to a particular clique. 'Populars' are generally described in the media as being heartless, pretty, well-dressed, atheletic, stupid whores. Many 'populars'in schools seem to follow this stereotype, while few act like decent human beings.'un-populars' dream that the 'populars' will grow up to live on minimum wage, and lead awful lives. However, many populars are charismatic, a trait that will lead them to sturdy future. Overall what type of 'popular' a person is depends on the individual, though most are masked by the stereotypes of the media.

a person is popular when they think everyone likes them, when in fact nobody likes them, they just hang around them to get attention or to look good. a popular person will ignore anyone who is different from them, but if they want something they will suck up to the person who has whatever they want then after they have it they will ignore the other person. also a the guy or gurl which thinks everyone is in love with them even if they dont come to realise that thoses people hate their fuking guts!
