The act of pressing just about all the buttons on the game controller in a desperate attempt not to get your ass kicked at Marvel vs. Capcom. Often used when someone has never played a videogame before and doesn't know the commands. Sometimes used because it's cheap.

I would've beaten him at Soul Calibur if he hadn't been button mashing the whole time.

Keyboard Mashing

Keyboard Mashing is, essentially the result of someone mashing their keyboard in certain circumstances. Such as in times of frustration, anger, boredom, an attempt to relieve stress or due to a violent spasm in the typist's hands and arms. This generally occurs in chatrooms or on chat programs, such as MSN, IRC, AIM etc.

Melon Mashing

The act of two male individuals painting or carving their dream girls faces on each side of a watermelon including a hole for the mouth. The two individuals proceed to face fuck there masterpiece until they touch dicks in the middle.

"What did you guys end up doing last night?"

"Not much. Just watched a movie with those two hot chics in it. Then we both sculpted their faces on a watermelon did some melon mashing. Ramming Ryans dick half way through the melon was kinda fucked!"

What most people do while playing soul calibur. When a person doesn't now how to play a fighting games and just randomly presses as many buttons as they can. Usually the people who do this think they're really good at the game even though its really cheap.
