Half eejit

Variation of the irish slang word eejit, generally meaning you are only slightly an idiot. A subtle approach to the insult, generally used on family members when a full insult doesn't feel necessary.

Paddy: I just spilt my drink on the floor

John: Argh! Your a half eejit!

Scottish slang for idiot. often used to describe somebody who's just done something so incredibly stupid, that they should be considered mentally retarded.

person 1:"You see him o'er there?"
person 2:"yeah"
person 1: "he's a feckin' eejit"
