A term used in sailing races when a lot of boats reach the buoy at the same time. Lots of yelling and swearing is involved, usually directed at the captains of other boats, or at your own boat's crew. High risk of collision. Often followed with excessive drinking.

Closing off multiple primary routes of traffic for 90 days to trim the verge, forcing the traffic load of a small town like London to use a single lane bridge to commute. Also using diversion tactics that will see someone travelling from Birmingham to London visit the Norwich coast.
