Stupid program that will play DVD's for some people but not for others. Completely illogical and impossible to use. Really pointless

Windows Media Connect

Windows Media Connect itself is one of the most horribly engineered programs in existence today. It is imposible to get it to run correctly even if you follow the instructions TO THE LETTER. If by some act of God you have gotten this program to work flawlessly, you must be burned at the stake for being a Witch.

Windows Media Player

Windows Media Player is as old as the '90s but no one uses it anymore.
It is best compared to Lemons: everyone knows about 'em, yet no one likes them unironically.

Windows Media Player has been nuked from updates making it slow, hog up RAM, and it cannot play modern formats.
However Microsoft thought it would be better to not only keep WMP but also introduce 2 separate apps rather than just updating Windows Media Player to no suck complete ass.

If someone is using WMP then they are either on a nostalgia trip or are suffering from severe brain damage.
Why not just use VLC or MPC-HC?

Person 1: I use Windows Media Player!
Person 2: Legit shut up.

A new windows operating system. Designed on tried and true xp pro, it has a wide range of new features that prevent you from copying cds and dvds, downloading unlisenced shit from kazaa, and giving the RIAA a back door to ur computer

Windows media center edition is gay. XP pro is much better.

Worthless music player because of its useless library (iTunes is better) and crappy sound quality (musicmatch jukebox is better. Uttely worthless media guide (Realone is better). Only good for watching porn, and you can do that on Real or WinDVD. It's the prettiest media player

WMP sucks, but on the bright side...it has um.....pretty skins and visualizers.... oh! It burns pretty well too...thats pretty much it.

Windows Media Player

Pretty good program, considering its made by microsoft. Although its really bad about slowing my computer down (it is an HP, which sucks)

Running, Call of Duty, AIM, Norton Antivirus and listening to my Smashing Pumpkins CD on Windows Media Player....computer actully slows down....thank you Windows XP
