Cutesy way of saying time to get up. Usually used by a significant other in the morn time of the day, when one begins to stir from a deep slumber.

Also used in place of "Wakey wakey"

10:32 AM Boyfriend (in bed) ::groans:: as he begins to awaken from his slumber
10:33 AM Girlfriend (also in bed) greets boyfriend "Uppity Time!"

Upping the punx

Inside joke in the hcr, punk and, through some sort of internet voodoo magic, snickering indiekid communities. A way of pointing out that something or someone is flying the punk flag a bit too high.

Can also be used to point out that a punk has gotten old and gone corporate.

Punx: "Did you see American Hardcore yet?"
Hcr: "Yeah, Keith Morris sure was upping the punx with those dreads"
