The act of clicking on random videos on youtube, and in the end landing on a really random vid.

(Guy 1) Dude, I found a video of a cat eating a dude's shit.

(Guy 2) What? Why did you look that up?

(Guy 1) I didn't, I was just You-Tube Surfing and it came up!

couch surfing

1. A cheap form of lodging used mainly by college-students or recent college-grads, where one stays on acquaintance's couches rather than a hotel.

2. What someone who can't afford rent on their own and/or can't find roommates quick enough does when they are "between" places

1. dude1:I'm hittin' up NYC this weekend.
dude2:Damn, thats gonna be expensive.
dude1:Not rilli, my boy from college just got a job and a place in Manhattan, and I'm couch surfin'.

2. person1: Whats up with Joe, he's been here like all the time.
person2:he just broke up with his girl, and doesn't have a place yet, so he's couch surfin' here 'til then.

Sumain

Sumain is a person who is a native sign language user. In Spanish, 'Su' means 'Your' and in French, 'Main' means 'Hand' - therefore, "Your hands tell me that I exist". An identity based on sign language as well as spatial/visual/tactile fluency as opposed to "broken hearing".

Also, it means a person who has a keen spatial and visual intelligence.

Rite of passage for a young pledge rushing a fraternity. The pledge must stand barefoot in a toilet while industrial-sized buckets of ice cold water are ceremoniously dumped on the head and body by a large group of junior and senior members of the frat.

Some fraternities make their pledges go toilet surfing during Hell Week.

Greg: Man, I watched some pretty messed up backyard wrestling on youtube. Is that stuff even real?

Susan: Why were you watching backyard wrestling?

Greg: I was YouTube surfing!

It's like "swag" but it's not; To ride that wave or trend with magnificence, or with outstanding presentation. You can take a picture of yourself in a surfer position, while presenting your very own style. It's doing your thing, your way, in the best way possible. To be perf in your own way.

surfing

A newfound religon to many people. It takes over their lives so all they care about is how close they are to a beach, they check the surf reports ever half hour to see wave status, and the only money they ever spend is for gas to get to the beach...and surfboards. Surfing takes lots of time but is very fulfilling and many people believe they are closer to God while riding an amazing wave.

Kate: Hey, where is Jake?
Jo: Oh, I think you know.
Kate: ...surfing.
