when a friend makes reference to something you've done, just so you bring up the fact that they are much more talented than you at that thing.

A- "that's a great photo man, what camera did you use?"
S- "man, you're just saying that so I can tell everyone about how you have a $2500 slr camera and got approached to be a photographer at someone's wedding because they saw one of your facebook albums and thought you were a professional. you are such a parantention seeker".

Usually containing foul language and written by stupid teenage girls/stupid adult women who are unable to spell the most basic words in their posts.
