cyber pester

To cyber pester someone is to repeatedly and playfully annoy them online — sending too many messages, memes, tags, reactions, or notifications. It’s a lighthearted, non-threatening version of cyberstalking: still irritating, but more goofy than scary.

1. “Don’t cyber pester me right now; I’m busy.”
2. “He tried to cyber pester me all morning with dumb memes.”
3. “If you cyber pester your ex again, you’re going to regret it.”
4. “My brother will cyber pester the whole family group chat until someone responds.”
