this is a sort of evolution to "kobetard." this is a fanboy that now rates "carmelo and the knicks" as the best team in basketball, and that rates carmelo anthony as the best player in basketball, neck-and-neck with kobe bryant, and better than lebron james. ESPN is what causes this. Even though Carmelo Anthony had his best statistical season with the Denver Nuggets last season, (2009-2010), nobody said anything like that. He's playing worse this season, he gets traded to the {NEW YORK} Knicks, and he's the best player in basketball. Also note that New York is the biggest media market. This is fact, not opinion. It's a word used by some young Italian migrants I've met in London. It means stupid, loser; someone who doesn't follow fashion and therefore is not stylish at all. The word "melotta" can also be referred to an awkward behaviour. I was told that the word "melotta" derives from a very low price brand of whiskey, in Abruzzi, a region of South Italy.

Melotraumatic

When a person has a horrible experience/injury and either talks about it over and over again or blames all of his/her faults on it for months after it happened. Either way, he/she makes way too big a deal out of the traumatic experience.

Man 1: I swear, I feel bad for that girl who had a nasty concussion after that car accident, but now, every time she loses her temper, she just blames that accident for it.
Man 2: I know, she's so melotraumatic.
