Most fans are glory hunting individuals who live nowhere near Manchester.

Liverpool have 5 European Cups, Man Utd only have 2. Bah!

A fictional product used in phrases in which you intend to challenge someone's manhood, best used in a voice dripping with sarcasm.

Example 1:
Walter: *screams* A wasp just flew right in my face!
Steve: Sh*t mate, maybe you'd like some man up cream to go with that scream?

Example 2:
Walter: Yeah I've been kept awake for about three nights because of my throbbing foot, I stepped on a pin!

Derived from the phrase "cowboy up", meaning "be tough, be strong, act like a real cowboy", which was in use in rodeo circles at least since the mid-1970's. "Man up" means, similarly, "be tough, be a man, do what a man should do." Other derivations, such as "woman up", are common.
