The process when circumstances force one, who is loathe to throw away anything, to separate things which actually have personal value from trash.

I spent this past weekend hoardermining through 20 years of accumulated stuff in preparation to moving in with Claire. Ninety-five percent of the stuff was trash, but I found some really cool stuff including love letters, old business cards, and my birth certificate among other things.
