gunship

At first, gunships were naval vessels sporting guns, very simple. In more recent history, the term gunship has been aplied to aircraft. The role of a modern gunship is to get as much ordinance on the target as possible and blow the shit out of the enemy. Gunships come in the form of both fixed wing aircraft and helicopters. Gunships are usually based on a designasted gunship frame (the AH-64 Apache)or off cargo style craft that have been modified for the purpose (AC-47 Spooky).

The US military uses the gunship for close air support and shock and awe missions. The gunship is usually in support of other units. They circle or patrol a certain area and unleash hell as needed.

Bears With Guns

Brown bears that use automatic firearms. Extremely dangerous.
They are known for being more dangerous and powerful than the "Bear Cavalry", and their service to hostages rescue.

Richard: We're being defeated!
William: Keep shooting! Don't let them catch us!

Originally used by pilots to alert their wingmen/AWACs that they are in dogfight range and firing their cannon as opposed to their longer-ranged missiles.

Used by young adult males to alert their wingmen that they are breaking away to engage a target female at close range.

John: KAKOW! Hotties at 11 O'Clock... I got the one with the weater hogs...

Jack: When? What the hell are you talking about?!

John: Guns guns guns!

Jack: Dude, where the hell are you going?
