Buckethead

An obnoxious guitarist who can play really fast. Since people stopped noticing guitarists who can fingertap like madmen in 1990, Buckethead decided he needed a gimmick, so he put a bucket on his head (lol!). His music is easy to identify. It usually sounds like a constant blur of notes that makes you feel slightly uncomfortable. Though a technically sound... an AMAZINGLY technically sound guitarist, Buckethead doesn't understand that sometimes playing too fast sounds like garbage. I mean, if you want to drive somewhere and get to a point in a car driving 300 miles an hour, you can try. But you're probly gonna hit some trees and people along the way.

Brian "Buckethead" Carrol is an asshole. If you want to hear someone play fast and have a musical point, grab a Primus record and try to ignore Les for a second so you can notice what Ler is doing.

#1 In the 1980's, a Church's Fried Chicken commercial coined the phrase, "Don't be a buckethead". This was meant to be a negative connotation since KFC's chicken came in a characteristic "bucket".

#2 Other definition: That weird guy that wears a bucket on his head to take attention away from the monotonous drone of hammer-ons from his guitar. This is also a negative connotation.

#1 Situation: (person coming out of KFC with a bucket of chicken) Concerned patron: "Hey, don't be a buckethead!"

#2 Situation: (buckethead is coming out of KFC with a bucket of chicken) Concerned patron: "Hey Buckethead, don't be a buckethead, you freak".
