Truss

A unit of time that lasts around 7 months, in reference to the amount of time that Liz Truss was UK Prime Minister before her sudden resignation. It is used to indicate a proportionately short passage of time for a major occurence or decision to pass.
Person 1: Hey, did you hear about the regional manager? I heard the higher-ups sacked him after stockholders found him a liability to the company, and started pulling out.
Person 2: Oh wow, I knew the guy was a tool but I was not expecting him to not even survive a Truss in that role.

1) Keep a hernia in check.
2) Act as a girdle.
3) Block the view of your penis so nobody will know if you're walking around with a woody.
4) Be used as a dinner plate.
