Faith

Faith is Gullibility. Faith is lacking knowledge. Faith is believe in what you don't know. If there is knowledge, no faith is required.

Example: A person needs faith to believe in a god. A person does not need faith to believe there's the sun. The sun is without question. No faith is needed that the answer to three plus one is equals to four. The answer is four whether you're a jew, christian, muslim, hindu etc.

When is comes to a god, if you were born from Hindu parents, most likely your god will be 'Vishnu' or 'Shiva' and your faith will be in Vishnu or Shiva. If your parents are Christians, your faith will be in 'jesus', etc etc. This is what faith is. Reality is very different. Reality can be tested like gravity, but the gods are not to be tested. Faith is needed. Same thing applies for fairies, pixies, and pink unicorns. They're not to be tested because they're not real.

B) has evidence in direct support of the exact opposite of the claim.

Person1: Jesus was born of a virgin mother.

Person2: That's impossible. Parthenogenesis has never been observed in mammals and even if it by chance transpired, Jesus would have been female as human mothers can only donate Y chromosomes and males require both the X and Y chromosomes.
Person1: Well I have FAITH in the claim so fuck you, I'll believe what I want despite the overwhelming evidence and damn near proof showing that my belief cannot possibly be true.
