An insult that refers to somebody who lectures about the BIMlife style in academia.

Orgin: Bolton Street late 00's

Slang used by street BIMsters who makes fun of people in academia lecturing about the BIMlife style.

"BIM is sold not told" meaning you live it and not speak about it.

Also refers to being a wannabee BIMster.

A person into architectural technology and also intrigued by the BIM lifestyle and lectures about it like he does it. Braggs in academic paper of false situations that he in fact has no experience or grasp of.

"you hear the Notorious BIM's new lectures about utilising Integrated Precast Automation for rapid placement of Pile Caps?"....

"Man... that fools ain't nothing but studio BIMster".
