I bought a 17" Powerbook, its fuckin sweet. also: !x86 = good. The intel arch has had ugly hack after hack applied to it. WHich is why ELF is so difficult on x86. macppc is a nice clean arch.

Knock on Computer Screen

1.) A saying/action you bring up when something is almost done loading on your old-as-time-itself computer and you don't want anything to screw up.

2.) A substitute for knock on wood when no real wood is around, especially when posting a message online or using an instant messenger.

A computer potato is one who downloads media through file sharing networks such as bit-torrent and spends much of their time watching shows obtained. The type of media could range from movies to anime to japanese drama episodes.

A computerphobic is a person below a stonager on the computer competence rating scale. They are mortified that they might push the wrong "button" and blow a smoke ring.

My brother is a total computerphobic. He thinks that if you go on the internet, you become deluged with a boatload of spamporn.
