Cuddle Date

Often done in early stages a relationship, a date where it's implied that the intent is to merely cuddle with no expectation of sex though it may lead to that if the chemistry is there. It's a step up from asking to simply hang out.

When a girl asks for a cuddle date, she may just want exactly that, to test the waters or to simply not appear to be a slut.

When a guy asks for a cuddle date, he's looking to get laid but either trying to be a gentleman by giving her an out if it doesn't go well or simply too shy to explicitly ask "hey, you dtf?"

Dude she asked me for a cuddle date, what's that?
Be chill, play your cards right and you might get some.

scene date

To date someone purely for the purpose of boosting your scene appeal.

e.g. "i dont know why those two are going out, shes ugly and he's a slut.."
"oh you know, they're scene dating"

prom date

In golf, if you hit a putt and it goes around the entire circumfrence of the hole (the lip) but doesn't go in. All lip, no hole.

I thought that putt was going down, but it really was just a prom date.

virtual date

When two people decide to watch a movie or a tv show at the same time, while instant messaging. Usually requires a countdown to start so that both parties are watching the video at the exact same time and therefore comment on it as if they actually were together.

Person: "What did you do last night?"
Me: "My girlfriend couldn't go out, so her and I virtual dated to the new episode of How I met Your Mother."

the night you’ve been waiting for, for the longest time. one of the most magical nights of your life, one you will never forget. it’s the butterflies you get as you get the message that that are outside, it’s the feeling of flowers blooming in your chest as you drive in the car to the destination. it’s the little things that make the night magical like cute little conversations about tour futures and getting food together and talking about the other great places you want to go to together, it’s losing track of time with the person you want.

i’m going on my first date tonight and i can’t wait.
