The act of securing a shopping cart in a parking lot where there is no convenient or safe place to leave it.

Person #1: Where are you going? Just leave the cart there.

Person #2: No way, I am going to beach the cart on that curb over there so it doesn't go rogue and ding someone's car.

Person #1: We should all be so courteous.
