To "search for gold" or "dig for mystery", "dig in my butt" is a term used to talk about a common hobby or activity in which one may stick their finger up their rectum cavity to search for any scraps which may be left after taking a shit. Birthday digs are punches given to people on their birthdays. Example if it’s your 12th birthday that’s 12 punches and 1 for good luck.
