A girl with low self-esteem who sleeps with alot of men thinking it would get guys to like her better but it doesnt. Not to be mistake with women who actually like sex so they go out and do it. Which in my opinion is unfair that if a women wants to go out and have sex she is called a slut but if a man does he's just being a man. It's a double standard.
Dumbass Girl1: Karen made out with two guys at the same time at the party last night and liked it. What a slut. Dumbass Girl2: I know right. Me: No she is not a slut. She is just given a bad reputation because stupid people like you don't know the difference between a slut and a girl who likes sex.

Supposedly means a person, generally a woman, who may have slept with a generally large amount of people. Most of the time the person using this term is not actually saying it to the "slut" in question, and they normally do not actually know if the "slut" they are talking about is even a "slut" at all.
Mark, stop talking to Sandra, she's such a slut.
