Boomerslang

1) A common word or phrase that's meaningless, but is meant to rope people in. It's an amalgamation of corporate speak and platitudes--A buzzword that instills hope but makes no promise and has no intent to deliver.

They claim to offer "competitive pay." That's boomerslang for "we pay sh*t, but promise that with your loyalty we'll pay better, even though we won't."

Boomer Friendly

"Boomer Friendly" is when technology operating systems try to be so user friendly they end up making it too simple for the average user, with large icons and no information. Making it perfect for a Boomer that doesn't know up from down when it comes to a computer.

Jimmy: Hey Papaw, this computer at Staples is really Boomer Friendly, you will be able to use it no problem.
Papaw: WHAT?! Speak up, you talk so quiet!
Jimmy: THIS COMPUTER IS GOOD!!!!!!!!

Boomerparel

Conjunction of "Boomer" and "Apparel", Boomerparel is a vein of edgy "Attitude" t-shirts that are typically long-winded statements of how tough, independent, sassy, patriotic, grumpy, or any other boastful sentiments the individual wearing them is. Typically worn by Boomers, but occasionally seen on aging Gen-X. Shirts with statements such as:
•"I'm Sorry, You're Coming For My What?" with the graphic of a Redneck skeleton and an arsenal of guns at his back.
•"ATTENTION! Until Further Notice My STUPID PEOPLE FILTER Needs Cleaned, And My GIVE A DAMN Meter Is Broken!" with, oddly enough, a "gothic" rendition of Spyro the Dragon
•"I'm sorry, did I OFFEND you!?"
•"My Freedoms Don't End Where Your Fear Begins"

A sub-group of Overly Religious Boomerparel can be found worn by all ages, with phrases such as "Leave The Judgin' To JESUS" or some such.

Sunday Lunch Rush at Golden Corral has enough Boomerparel to make me want to gouge my eyes out...

Boomerfication

The process of taking every single aspect of the "American Dream" that you grew up with, and regulating, outsourcing, outlawing, taxing, and inflating all of it so that you, and you alone will ever get to enjoy it, leaving your children and grandchildren to pick up the pieces. All while making fun of them for not "pulling themselves up by the bootstraps, shaking the managers hand, and start earning a decent living just like I did!"

I wanted to go to college, but thanks to boomerfication is just isn't worth it anymore.

Boomer Bros

What boomer men turn into when they get together. These champions of toxic masculinity love to hate on their wives, family, younger generations, and POC. They are not afraid to get drunk at kids parties, bully the kids, and are quick to talk about how they are more knowledgeable at sports than the pros and coaches. Common phrases include "kids these days...", "You think you have it tough...", and "back in my day...".
