Terrorism

An act of violence used in order to achieve a political, religious or social belief and applying force and terror to accomplish it. Any act of violence via school shooting, bombings, public mass shootings is considered terrorism. Muslim extremist, suicide bombers, etc are considered terrorists. Although in the US, in response to a white male commiting a crime, it is called "mental illness".

Anchor: An act of terrorism has just commited a crime by what is known to be a Muslim extremist, killing dozens of people---
Anchor 2: Oh shoot... wait, that man was white...
Anchor 1: Correction, we are now getting reports that this man was in fact mentally ill.

Terrorism

Terrorism is when a terrorist threatens you due to circumstances beyond his control based on his beliefs, not facts. In the past he has warned you and you took it as a threat and now he is serious.

This is not an act of terrorism, I have warned you before, there are 100 lbs of sodium bicarbonate in various locations around the building and if my demands are not satisfied I am adding the acetic acid then I will activate the fridgepaks and boom!
