The existence of the Toledo Taco and the Cleveland Steamer seem to suggest that the Ohio Theory deserves consideration.

Theory of Maximum Foolishness

The world will arrange itself to make you--personally--feel maximally foolish.

Murphy's Law is a subset of the Theory of Maximum Foolishness. ML says "Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong." Often, that is true. However, the TOMF says that if something can go RIGHT that would make you look MORE foolish, then that is what will happen.

For example, ML predicts that bread will always fall butter-side down. But, if I TELL YOU it will fall butter-side down, when I go to actually SHOW YOU, the bread will fall butter-side up, making me feel maximally foolish.

The TOMF is true, but neither verifiable nor falsifiable to others because, whatever conditions you establish to test it, only YOU will know if the result made you feel maximally foolish. Of course it will, but only you will know that.

Theory

1. In common, everyday language when you have a theory it means you simply have a guess. It doesn't have to be supported by evidence or fact.

2. In the scientific community, an explanation supported by a evidence and is logically sound.

2. The theory of Evolution logically explains why life is so diverse, and the evidence that supports it includes fossils, DNA, living specimens, and bacterial research.

Oofy Doofy Theory also known asdoofus ,hubby schlubby,wounded bird weak man narrative weak sauce narrative theory. refers to nerdy, geeky men who are alledged getting all the good looking women while good looking men chads are alone and not getting dates.

Steve is getting all the women now that oofy doofy theory is in effect , women dont give good looking guys the time of day.

The Ewing Theory

A theory hashed by ESPN.com writer Bill Simmons and his friend Dave Cirilli. It that explains the reason why teams inexplicably become better after their star player leaves the team for any reason (trade, injury, etc.). Two elements must be present for a situation to be explained by the Ewing Theory: 1) The team has a star player who receives a lot of attention but never wins anything, and 2) The star player leaves the team and everybody writes the team off.

The Knicks lose Patrick Ewing to an injury in a 1999 NBA playoff series with the Indiana Pacers. Everyone writes them off. The Knicks then win three of the next four games and win the series to advance to the NBA finals.
