Portal addiction

When a person loves Valve's two games Portal and Portal 2 so much that they can't stop playing it, thinking about it, or searching for more Portal-related content. One suffering from portal addiction can either be addicted to the gameplay itself, or even the storyline and characters. Sometimes, said persons will turn to fan fiction, unofficial mods, or portal-related websites for continuation of the Portal series storyline.

All Jimmy does is play Portal 2 and read fanfic about Aperture Science; I think he's suffering from Portal addiction.

Giveaway Addict

Someone who is addicted to giveaway his stuff and he just can't stop doing so. A very bad addiction since a Giveaway Addict can give his girlfriend, his television, or even himself.

Carlos: Joey has a problem.
Betty: What's his problem.
Carlos: He is a giveaway addict. He couldn't stop giving everybody his things. And when he ran out of things, he gave his mother!
Betty: Wow, that's a huge problem!

functional addict

An individual to spite of having a chemical dependency, is able to maintain a career, family setting, and functioning semi normally into society. Many of the times these individuals require their drugs in order to function in society.

Yes I'm strung out I fix many times a day but I live in a nice house I have a loving wife and my children never want for anything I am the most functional addict there is.
