An organized crime syndicate started in a prison called Duel Vocational institute or DVI. The Group was formed to protect Mexican inmates in the prison system. Respect is gained by brutal killings of those who oppose them as well as commiters of taboo crimes such as molestation and rape. Members may enter by a vote of 3, or by killing an inside member. The groups number one enemy is the Nuestra Familia or the Nortenos otherwise known as NX4. They both have a shoot on sight relationship with one another. Another rival of the Mexican Mafia is the Black guerilla family leader of the Crips and Bloods, who mimic Nortenos and Surenos with blue and red gang colors.
