Spiegelian Logic

Named for computer science professor and all around cool guy, Dr. Daniel Spiegel, it is the principle in computer science education stating that if something is written, circled, underlined, or otherwise emphasized in the color red, then it is considered to be incorrect within the context of teaching at the time and may never be questioned, lest the questioner be unequivocally annihilated by said cool guy.
"Why is this wrong?" - Dr. Spiegel
"Because it is written in red." - Correct application of Spiegelian Logic, albeit vague

Gard Logic

Gard logic is a type of fallacy in logic. It represents irrationality and or lack of logic whatsoever. Usually used in a musical context.
Rather than spending time focusing on warming up and listening to the ensemble for tuning, skip warming up to turn right away to an electronic tuner. This constitutes an example of Gard logic because neither the player nor the instrument has been "warmed" up, negating the effects of tuning.

Logic Day

A holiday celebrated annually on October 5th (Neil DeGrasse Tyson's birthday) that celebrates science, nature, and logic. You eat bacon (although it isn't required), enjoy science and nature, and give gifts related to those things. Let's all do it! Spread the word! # logicday
Every year my family celebrates Logic Day by visiting our local museum.

fairytale logic

Caring about building happiness in the moment, a fairytale story, rather than anything in the future--where the building could lead to a fairytale tragedy or a fairytale happy ending--and since the logic used to get to the result was to build a fairytale, the type of ending doesn't matter.
Griffin: I worked my ass off to graduate from college in biology.

Sam: How was it?

Griffin: I used fairytale logic. If I didn't get the degree, that's life, since I made every moment I lived into a fairytale as best I could. And look what happened. I earned the degree, so it was a happy ending. But it was fun!
