A Jamaican term: A ‘Dry land tourist’ is someone who has never traveled outside of their country. Though they would love to travel to other countries, ‘dry land tourists’ never wait for an opportunity to travel, they make it their duty to take any opportunity to explore the corners and crevices of their own country.
1.If you want to visit Jamaica, I’ve a friend who knows all the cool places. She is a Dry land tourist.
