Tech Lag

The feeling theatre kids/stage people feel after a theatre production closes. After a long tech week and hard work put into a show, tech lag is what the cast experiences when the show finishes and they finally get to rest, à la jet lag.

Theatre Kid #1: “Oh man, I am really feeling techlagged now that Pippin has closed. Running Simple Joys 50 times in rehearsal really weighed on me.”
Theatre Kid #2: “I’m feeling more post-show depression myself, but that tech lag is gonna kick in tomorrow, I know it.”

When you travel to a very different time zone and your other bodily functions havent caught up to your new sleep-wake routine.

Resident of destination: You all settled in?
Traveler: My jet lag is better but I still cant use the restroom
Resident: Don't worry, your colon will catch up soon. You just have gut lag.

When a website that is content heavy and has an extended load time above normal loading rates, it is considered to be that of a lag monster.

Henretta tried to claim the free crypto on the website, but it was such a lag monster that she ended up just using the online mining link instead.

Age Lag

Typically for people who are loners and/or don't have much of a social life. This is the phenomena that causes them to falsely think that everyone they see whom they would want to associate with is their peers, or even in their age group. For example a middle age man looking at a young woman in her early twenties in college AND wondering if she'll "dig" him. He may be suffering from a case of Age Lag
