Internet Hobo

A person who has no strong sense of belonging in the "real world" and spends a significant portion of his or her time on-line. By spending time on-line, the internet hobo builds up a network of contacts and virtual hangouts and develops an on-line home, basically by connecting with other internet hobos. (Incidentally, e-bum.com is a place for internet hobos to hang out.)

Your friends all move away or you move to a new city. The people you meet in real life are not your type of people. You work from home or have no real way of making contacts in your everyday life, so you turn to the internet for companionship. You are an internet hobo.

A forum where like-minded nutters can seek each other out and reinforce and legitimize their perversion of choice while effectively minimising the necessity to interact with the larger society, which would beat them like the village mule and ensure that their dirty little excesses are not spread to other suggestible border-line sociopaths.

Internet Troll Personality Disorder

Internet Troll Personality Disorder (ITPD) is characterized by a persistent pattern of obstructing of on-topic discussion in online forums and comment threads. People afflicted with ITPD may purposefully present themselves as being inappropriately sexually provocative or racist. Often times they disingenuously express strong emotions with an impressionistic style, pretend to throw arbitrary tantrums, and never hesitate to contribute absurd, non-sequitur remarks at any perceived opportunity.

The etiology of ITPD is still being researched, but scholars agree that afflicted individuals usually enjoy some type of unfulfilling (and unsupervised) employment situation where they have access to computers with internet connections.

Guy #1: So Dean got fired?

Guy #2: Yeah, PLUS he's facing CRIMINAL charges of harassment by wire. You see, someone who Dean was harassing, via the internet, traced his IP address to one of our company's computers. So...

Guy #1: So, good 'ol Dean was bored at work all the time, and this is just another classic case of Internet Troll Personality Disorder, huh?

Part of the internet supply that is used especially by younger people, e.g. teeny chat rooms and childish you-tube vids. Most juveniles go on the kinternet after having returned home from school or kindergarten and after having received clearence to do so from parents with beginning ability to read and write.

Hop-o-my-thumb: May I watch Sponge-Bob on tv, Mum?

Mum: Are you crazy?

Hop-o-my-thumb: You are so bad, mum. Yesterday I wanted to watch Tele-tubbies and you did not allow. I hate you!

Mum: ok, ok, you may go on the kinternet then.
